For too many years we have not had the research as to why students remain in school. Furthermore, what sketchy information was available became available too late in the semester to help students to stay enrolled. With Early Alert™, retention is monitored. Each school discovers its own strengths and weaknesses, and receives strategies to improve retention. Also, each student is able to find where he or she stands, or needs to improve in eight important fundamental areas of school success early in the semester.
Early Alert™ analyses allow for first-day-of-school scores that point to potential difficulty or dropout from school. Then students are given interventions to secure their continuation in school.
Early Alert™ is directly related to Gear-up, No Child Left Behind, and Race to the Top programs.
